Superstructures

The main objective of superstructural engineering is to scale structures that are for the benefit of the humanity in the most cost-effective manner to reach a certain rigidity and to ensure the operation of these structures. The areas of focus of superstructural engineering are static modeling and static analysis of buildings. The aim here is to most correctly calculate forces and stresses.

Superstructures are structures that accommodate human beings in or on them. Examples are buildings, residential buildings, hotels, schools, offices, factories, workplaces, malls, terminals, stations, gyms, and stadiums. Damage analysis, repair and maintenance of structures are tackled in the area of structural engineering.
